This is the youngest of the trio of Bald Eagles flown at the Hawk Conservancy I attend most week-ends and still not got the pure white head which takes at least 5 years.. Thanks for taking time to view and any comments etc you care to make..

breathtaking, Danny, how you get these magnificent beasts in flight, and make them look like they're posing. It's motion and it's painting; and the beautiful contour of the wings, their soft almost painterly detail, the curve of the wing tops with that rich shadow inside, all punctuated by the fierce gaze of the bird---it's just splendid stuff. We can see that the bird's head hasn't 'come in' yet, but I didn't know it took that long. Beautiful work, and more in your exquisite series of bird captures, some of the most beautiful on the site...
