Ok, this is my first try with Terragen ever... pretty unspectacular, i guess... ;)

yes you are right, but it is very good for the first time. try to use some dramatic lightning, use more shadows, lightrays, stronger colours.

yes! that's the color of milka :) try changing cloud setting. for example increase shift, and decrease contrast settings.
