Please view full size for details. Thank you! Geez, it's been way back in September since I showed some chics with some real bad attitude. Don't wanna get too rusty before the next Ishtar series, so I thought I'd do a little practice run. This is Trish's new girl Alanna as a princess paired up with Kaleya's Merith as some kinda warrior priestess. I think both are showing some attitude, along with their feline friends (that old, deflective, I'm gonna pretend to ignore you until you give me some tuna attitude that all us cat girls know too well). Anyways, here's to attitude-however you choose to show it. Thanks Trish for gifting me Alanna, this is a different take on being a princess compared to my last work with her. Hope you like her in this role. Put a little posterize filter into this one to bring out the edges in this very soft image and then a touch of grain to give it an old style color photo look - but not trying to be photoreal at all. I like the post work on this image, more like art than photorealism. To be a warrior princess you need a bad attitude of course, just like artists! Glenn Close in Dangerous Liasons come to mind: 'betrayal' is my favorite word.. When Glenn was 13 her father opened a clinic in the Belgian Congo - you don't become a bad ass by sitting before you computer all the day!

Exquisite composition - sword/lance line and column lines in combination with light coming from the left, and figure poses, and illumination, and textures - all that give the image a splendid expressionistic effect.
