Charly eyes always glow red, even with the red eye option on the camera. Oh well!

Love this image. It contains two of my favorite subjects...dogs and fixing red eye problems in dogs. I had a hard time figuring this out a year or two ago myself. Then I read that the red eye in dogs isn't fixable using the red eye setting meant for humans on our digital cameras. Reason? Has something to do with the difference between cornea reflections in human versus canine eyes. Add to that...cats' eyes reflect green. Anyway, I finally found a way in Photoshop to lasso the offending red or green and clone in black...problem solved.

thank you for the red eye dog problem advice. I'll take that into consideration next time I take a picture of Charly.
