Description

Hi All!!, well just a quick 10 minute render of a little Dragon fly i was working on a while back, its 100% Bryce prims and booleans all grouped together then hit with a union jack with a slight metalic touch this is then just applied in parametric setting and voila, looks kinda cool, i did a few like these with various flags from around the world. Bryced and converted to jpg NO post just signature in psp, converted size from 2000 by 1400 render whcih took a pretty sweet 10 minutes and 5 seconds to render in normal setting. Thankyou for taking a look and hope you all have a great weekend. Steve :) As serge rightly pointed out its not a dragon fly but hey i used parts from the one im using and kinda got stumped with a name, its a fly thingy with a flag on it, LOL, (ok wheres that head im working on?...omg that really does not sound right when reading that back huh)

Hi, Steve..The Union Jack is a good looking flag with the blue, white, red colors so it sets up as a very nice texture for your cool model. Not to sure if my Canadian flag would do. I always saw it as boring. Gotta run, there's a knock at my door and I think it's "The Royal Canadian Mounted Police". I believe they want to talk to me about my views regarding our flag. I'm sure this must have something to do with these overhead spy satellites. heheheheheheheh Take care buddy George

My man. It is a beautiful model and very colorful too. One note though- it is not a Dragonfly. One of the distinct features of Dragonfly is 2 sets of wins that do never fold, and practically rounded eyes. Two sets of wings spread aside over 3 sets of legs. The relative of dragonfly with two sets of wings that do fold on top technically is not a dragonfly anymore. Any fly with one set of wings has nothing to do with dragonfly at all. Here are the photos of dragon fly: http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=Dragonfly+pictures&FORM=MFEIMG&PUBL=Google&CREA=userid1743caaa1ef5ac7e719a0d46190a4c77f81e Sorry about that. It doesn't make your model any less beautiful though.

yup i know about the Dragon fly, it was just thrown together without any real technical merit. It has a few of the parts from my full dragon fly (will post that once i get the head section complete at 25,000 pieces so far its a tad complex) cheeeeers guys
