Description

This tree is an exhibit at a nature center to show how a tree will decay and eventually join the earth on its own. The sign nearby asks "How long will it take?" I like not only the idea, but the juxtaposition of the various textures, colors and shapes.

Unusual and thoughtful contrasts exist all around us and you had the discipline to photograph and share one of them with us.
