a couple days
Ok, see you then…
(oh my, when?)
I looked up couple
It said, “a few, or two”
and I said to myself
“Ok, I can do two,
but…
what if it’s a few?”
Back to the book

So I thought… small, limited
Amounts of
(looking up exclusive)
….
“Not divided or shared with others”
sitting here
late into day two
(hugging to self, exclusive small memories)
patiently waiting for
and missing
…

I love the way I can hear your voice, even though I'm only looking on a screen at words, at little pixels that amount to information conveyed. It's alive, it's vibrant and I love the little hesitations and bits of uncertainty that you weave through this, not with pauses, but with actual letters. This is a marvelous and enchanting piece of writing.
