My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

What a stunning capture, and perfect for Bill's birthday. I love the light you've gotten in the sail. Well done, and Happy Birthday Bill!

The shot is beautiful & mysterious, Tara, and it's a wonderful image for Bill who everyone loves here. It has a painterly feel, but it's very photographic as well. The simplicity of your sky & the touch of light at the point where the sky meets the trees is wonderful. The broad silhouette of the trees makes this almost a Japanese print in its simplicity. (There are hints of homes in the trees, but just hints...) And the boat on those silvery waves is placid & tranquil---but for that beautiful light filling the right sail: Whoosh! That's an accent that completes the piece with a touch of the divine. A beautiful simple & tranquil shot for one of the kindest & most perceptive & open-minded & hearted people here, and someone with a deep, keen high quality eye as well. Couldn't have posted a better image for Bill! Happy Birthday Bill, I haven't forgotten your birthday, I'm just gonna be late as usual, but you'll get something...and a beautiful dedi, Tara, with a beautifully-seen composed and postworked vision. Like a dream soaked into a copper plate...

This is amazing and such a perfect birthday gift/dedication...it ranks up there with Mandy being Mandy at 4:30am, just because she forgot to reset her clock! Hilarious! I love the golden hues in this, the quality of light and the way the whole image dances and glistens...oh dear, I seem to have channeled a particular "Old Man" just now...but hey, I know beauty when I see it and so I don't care what fictional characters I channel as a result of it. How marvelous! I like this immensely!
