Description

Because you love aeroplanes Bill, I tried to find a plane somewhere, but I found only this one. LOL! So I tried to make it a bit more interesting by using some filters on it, but then I couldnt decide which one of the three to post, so I made a triptych. With a little HUGE imagination, I hope you can pretend it is a real plane. ;-D HAPPY BIRTHDAY BILL May you have Many Many Happy Birthdays in the future. :-) _____________________________ Have a wonderful week, all. This morning we had to first frost. Have been in the garden and taking shots of it. It is cold, but sunshine and no wind. In a very lovely morning. It seems, Bill has been a good boy :D _____________________________ Thank you so much for viewing and commenting on my previous post and special warm thanks go to those, who added it to their favorites. :)

Now this does make the imagination go... Studying your three images of this wooden biplane, I love the details. As a young boy, I'd have been visiting this park daily jumping in the cockpit and flying the dawn patrol:)

This little plane is charming! I love your postworked versions ... the blue with the brick makes me think of an ink drawing that's been carefully wet, and the red one is equally fascinating! The original provides just the right touch. A triptych was the perfect choice! I love Bill's comment ... it's so easy for me to see him as a small boy, running to hop on this unique piece, flying off to adventure!

Happy Belated Birthday, Bill... These are marvelous images! I love all three, and they're the perfect gift/dedication. Your postwork is amazing. I love the way you repeat the bricks in the shadows, and do interesting things with the textures and the colors, making each distinct. It has the look of something done by hand as well...something a little bit old, maybe not antique, but definitely aged nicely. I think that gives an extra special feeling to the whole thing. This is really nice. I like it a lot!
