Description
The Whale Route
Discover the 13 whale species that populate the St. Lawrence River thanks to the countless observation sites that make the region one of the five best spots in the world for observing marine mammals. Blue signs bearing pictograms of small belugas will guide you along the "Whale Route". This officially recognized route follows Highway 138 from the coast of Tadoussac up to Natashquan. From April to November, you can also see whales from roadside stops along the shore, from aboard ferries or while on special boating excursions. Route length: 568 mi.

Découvrez les 13 espèces de baleines qui peuplent le fleuve Saint-Laurent grâce à des sites d'observation d'innombrables qui font de la région des cinq meilleurs endroits au monde pour l'observation des mammifères marins. " Des panneaux bleus portant des pictogrammes de petits bélugas vous guidera le long de la «Route des Baleines». Cette route officiellement reconnue suit la route 138 à partir de la côte de Tadoussac à Natashquan. D'avril à Novembre, vous pouvez aussi voir les baleines des haltes routières le long du rivage, à bord de traversiers ou sur les excursions en bateau.
