Description

We watched this pair obviously courting, bowing and lifting their heads simultaniously. They don't look fully mature, their beak colour is still very pale. They moved away from the flocks to a secluded spot and seemed uninterested in feeding. I didn't want to intrude so took this from well away with a tele lens. It is also a bonus of a dull day, pics of swans don't burn out the details!

Kevin - this is such a moving photograph. It brought a lump to my throat. Swans are so majestic, and yet have been so vulnerable to damage by horrible people with pellet guns and fishermen with their discarded line and lead weights..
