Description

When I started this image the sub was breaching the surface of a tropical ocean. But I kept tweaking and changing it until it went deeper and deeper and less and less light until I got to this. So, although I set out to show off the textured sub under water, it's actually gone so deep that all you can really see are the lights. But I kinda like it. Here's a tip. Even though this is WAY under water, I had caustics on. Since the glass is curved the lights within bounce all around it, which gives the cockpits a really nice glow and make them look like there is something going on. Thanks for looking.

Dude, you do amazing work. That looks like a real shot from a movie, like the Abyss or something similar.

I like all the soft edges, and the reflection on the glass. Nice work.

The lights illuminated the darkness of six miles down. No human had been down to the Challenger deep in years, but recent unmanned explorations had discovered something unusual, something.....constructed. As the two research subs dove deeper the crews were startled to discover plant life growing on the sides of the cliff walls. What the heck was down here?
