I hatched a monarch last month. :) Some of my photos ended up in the town's newspaper.

What a stunning capture! Not many get to see this miracle! I once hatched a swallowtail and was fortunate enough to see it hatch, pump up those wings and eventually fly off. One thing I love about monarch butterfly cases are those metallic gold looking beads around the top! We just saw Great Migrations on National Geographic the other night and they talked about the migration of the Monarch butterflies. Loved seeing those branches on the trees in Mexico hanging low with the weight of all those butterflies!
