Ok I've finally found a use for my hobby in my work.
These must be two of the most expensive images ever done in poser. These are actually live brains from MRI scans that I have reconstructed into full 3D obj Meshes.
I've written a program to load these models into Directx 3d Space and they can be viewed and manipulated in full 3D using Nvidia 3D Vision Kit.
Ok a bit of tech, the MRI was a Siemens MAGNETOM Verio 3T Whole-Body Magnetic Resonance Imaging Scanner. The output slices were stacked and mapped to produce a stl stereolithography file. T then converted these to obj files and voila!.
They are extremely large and very very detailed meshes.
I recon with the cost of the MRI suite and the cluster computers used these images cost upwards of £10,000,000
I get to play with BIG toys LOL
Fun Fun Fun
