Hi there. Maybe you remember my post with the Larva of the Elephant Hawk Moth this year. Now I dig her out and this is it, a pupa of a female one I think. Next time I will show you the other one, this was a male (I hope so and think so because of the different size, you will see). Maybe there will be much small larvae next year... Have all a great weekend.

Wonderful. It is funny...the pupa looks like a cross between a bat and an alien spaceship...odd how Nature works. This is a stunning, perfect, informative, and elegant piece of photographic work.
