Those eyes add a really cool fx. A lovely render indeed. Sorry to here about VUE 8. It can be temperamental for sure. I hope the folks at eon or cornucopia can give you some hints. Also, email me when you want and I will try to help. I have installed , reinstalled, and deleted about a 1000 times now.

Scary.. Nice POV and mood in this one, my friend. It reminds me of a Celtic folk tale or two, or maybe the WITCH WORLD series of teen fantasy books, by the late, great Andre Norton. I agree with your comment. I found that I liked Vue 6 Infinite best. I went down to Vue 8 Complete, and even tried Frontier and Esprit, but with Vue 9 Complete, the program itself disabled a few things, having decided that my PC, with a, ATI HD 5670 graphics card just wasn't up to scratch. While Vue 8 expected too much of my machine, so I just rendered small and used Photo Zoom 3 to blow the images up, or rendered simply, concentrating on composition, and using ecologies sparingly, now Vue 9 Complete works a bit faster, and I've not had a problem with it at all. I prefer setting up landscapes of the Long Isles, and sometimes folk think that they are photographs, from the thumbnail. I use them on the outsides of many of my greetings cards for family and friends. Warm regards, well maybe -4C, from a snow bound Glasgow, Scotland, John.

I like the light on the leaves. Mostly the eyes of the animal there in the darkness! Cool!
