Description
This is an experiment. I'm working on a new project.
I've discovered the most simple and wonderful way to get an enormous number of characters into a single scene.
There are 16 V3's in this scene. They are all in the same pose and the same outfit, but they don't have to be. I just did that to make it easy to do this test scene.
Also playing with shadows and reflections here.
I've been away for a long time. I'm working long hours. Maybe I'll be able to get back to my Valkyries story. I hope so. But as something that will take less time, I intend to create a chess set and show a scene with as many characters as I can fit!
I know this method will work with DAZ. I don't know if it will work with Poser. But I'm really happy I figured out how to do this!

Some versions of Poser have a function in the "EDIT" menu to allow you to "Duplicate" figures and props. Experiment around and see what you get. Welcome back!

It is a surprise to see a post by you, I was about to put you in with the living dead. Everyone is very curious about this technique and I know it cannot be simple duplication because that creates another full mesh figure. In poser there is a python script to turn figures into props and that saves a lot of memory. But you have captivated us all with your secret. I see reflections too ... that is really pressing the memory envelope. I certainly know the daunting task of a series, it can be neverending and takes on a life of its own, whereas a chess set is finite and clearly doable. Glad to see you make some time to be here again.

Wow, I've been wondering what happened to you! I'm totally with you on not having enough time to make posts; but as long as the ideas don't die, I know we'll see more of you again. Keep the inspiration flowing! Slick piece, by the way; I gotta applaud anyone who can put a ton of figures in a picture without killing your processor. ;P

I love chess & chess renders. Done a few myself. Great job & I said "Wow!" when I saw it. Can't wait to see where you go with it. Glad to see you're still kickin'. I was about to 'bug' you again... ;)
