A Dutch good friend introduced me to R'osity... and now, I really feel good in this community : I enjoy a lot your friendship and comments !BIOWith a few exceptions (indicated), I'm using a simple CANON Digital IXUS i... Sometimes, I do some postwork using ArcSoft PhotoStudio 5, but I just installed Adobe PhotoShop 7.0...
But now, after having seen all these beautiful shots, I just bought (Nov 2004) myself a new camera : NIKON 70 D !
I'm a chemist, leading a small R&D team in polymers (My greatest pleasure is to stimulate creativity...) I'm also studying to become a patent attorney...
I'm living in Belgium and enjoy travelling, hiking (going out every week-end is a vital must !), reading (my French preferred authors are Marc Ly, Jean-Christophe Grang Amie Nothomb,...), music (great fan of US female voices : Jennifer Warnes, Natalie Merchant, Sarah McLachlan, ...) and ... photography ! :~)
Bien cordialement aussi aux amis francophones !

My father-in-law did oystering in the off season (he was a shrimper the rest of the time). He would have a celebration in the fall season and invite the whole town to come eat fish, shrimp and oysters. The oysters were shucked during the party and one year, one of this friends was shucking and sliced through the palm of his hand. After he left to go to the emergency room to have his hand stitched, we all drank a beer in his honor. LOL Great shot and it does bring back memories.
