Excellent scene... I do hope he's used that "minty-fresh" dragontooth paste. };-) Superb dragon pose, character pose, wind effects and fire. Marvelous.

Wow, what a Superb Scene. Again the lighting is so REAL! Fire FX are perfect. and the sheen on the Dragaon and Her skin really highlights this. Excellent Render.

That's a truly an amazing concept and refreshing variation from your usual cool dragon/girl stuff, Carl... I like the thought of replacing a fire coming from a dragon's mouth by a fluttering white dress, that's a hilarious idea! :) Perfect composition and framing! Vashek

I say that when an image engages other senses besides the visual it is very evocative...as is this one. I can feel the ground rumble with that thundering dragon roar (nearly blowing the brave little lady away!) and feel the heat from those roaring flames! Fantastic "illustration" mate! :)

Do yo know that I moved that sky around about 5 times and was never really happy with it! and yes I 100% agree ......a little red on her as a rim light would have tied her into the scene a little more....thanks for that Delaney! take care Carl

better flames...less distracting sky.... more focus on the girl that now has a hint of red on her to tie her in

Hi Carl! As I'm coming in late, I'm delighted to see both versions at once. the improvements make the bottom picture a real hit with a more dramatic sky and subtle lights on the girl whose pose and dress I like a lot. And the subject of the picture is so pleasant. It's always like that with big wild beasts. You tickle their chins and there they are , purring .... :O)) I'm glad you posted, I was missing your pictures. Cheers Odile

original comment* Very interesting concept - Love the dress blowing like that, and the dainty woman who may be trying to charm that big dragon, or maybe the dragon is trying to impress her? I guess good pictures make you wonder such things, and this one does me. Critique: The cloudy area above the dragon's back seems to not belong to this picture. The bright gray (as you so rightly pointed out in my keyline on my last one - I fixed it, btw smiles ) is drawing the my eye to that point. I would like to see a little red glow on the girl from the fire as well. Maybe an extra point near her? Great drama in the picture though, just beautiful posing here. updated comment I do love that background now!  Really enhances the action going on in the foreground, and seems more foreboding with the billowing smoke clouds going on.  The flames are a vast improvement too - not that what you had before was bad, but it definitely so much dramatic smoke.  Now both balance and add much more punch to the picture. The glow is just enough to bring her into the scene, but not enough to make her seem anything but the cool gal that she is in the face of all that dragon. smiles I wanted to mention something I didn't before - I love the way you used the dragon's wings, body and her dress to create the golden spiral for your picture.  It is such a wonderful thing and ties the whole creation together so well. I am going to post this also on the board. Again, thanks for all the critique and help. Delaney
