Description

With the arravial of Sinterklaas and Zwarte Piet yesterday, for millions of people in Western Europe the Party month started again... that will end 1/1/2011
1. It's 2010.. but still not possible to buy a Sinterklaas outfit (just a Cathlic bishop's outfit, all the vendors around just have no idea how much money they could make with such outfits this time of year. ) at Rendero or Daz3d. So I had to work with a different kind of Sinterklaas again.. 2. I did not want to make it a rainy image again.. but gave the lady in the front wet clothes, because .. of course our thoughts are with the people of Belgium and Germany where it has been raining for 4 days in a row.. making large parts of these countries flooded.... A sad start of the Party Month. Our thoughts are with all those people in the nabouring countries... and of course those in the South of the Netherlands who's houses and animals are hit by this dissaster. The worst flooding in over 50 years.. with several people missing in Belgium

The weather patterns seem to be changing the last few years, creating terrible disasters all over the world. I have a deep feeling that it has to do with all that we are doing to the earth, the pollution, the damaging of natural waterways, the denuding for forests .. and so on and on. I am so sorry to read of all the disasters now hitting parts of Belgium and the Netherlands. It touches me much more since I've joined Rendo, now I know people all over the world, and these disasters and catastrophes are felt so much more. I pray for these people, and hope there is relief and help for them. Not much of a party month for them. A wonderful image, and yet you manage address the rains and the floods .. well done.
