My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Ok so being a poor sod I had to google that!!!!!!Ok it's from a plane and not a car! DOH. Well anyway Qantas has been having all types of problems over here of late, especially with their RR engines catching fire. You know how they are famous for never having a crash. Well unfortunately they have been coming very close recently.

I just love the soft pastel colors and sweeping lines of the turbine blades! Wonderful capture, Tara! Once again you make a work of art out of a piece of amazing technology!

Love the abstract qualities of this image. After figuring out Clive's signal flags above, I now will now turn my curiosity to determining the mathematical formula used to determine the exact curvature of the fan and compressor blades in the Trent 1000...NOT! I know I've told you one too many times how difficult long division, algebra, geometry and trig were for me to make that believable:-D

You've turned an engine into a fractal. Fantastic abstract and very cool colors.

I'm glad blinkings looked it up and informed the uninformed (me) that it is a plane and not a car. Beautiful abstract! Wonderful light, colors, and reflections. I like the large twisty bits in the front against the column like things in the back and the reflection of those column like things in the twisty bit to the far right. Knowledge of the names of the parts would come in very handy here. Superb capture!
