We have a huge tortoise, our mascot, in the middle of 'the village'. We don't call Joshua Tree a town. Its still unincorporated. I live so far out, it still takes nearly half an hour to get there. & if I want to go shopping, its another 20 mins. into Yucca Valley. Nice shot! ")

I have not eaten cooter but I have eaten in a restaurant that specialized in it. It is a very delicate meat with a distinct aroma. This is a fabulous statue. Wonderful shot.
