Description

Most folks like to get rid of grain. Here I have amplified it to get the effect I was after. (The power station is about twenty miles away from where I was standing and the sunlight on the steam appealed enough for me to take the shot). The original is a chocolate box job but I liked this better as it gave more balance and doesn't look like every other landscape.

very interesting and unique affect. Certainly a different kind of landscape.

Yes, we have something like that from a power station out on the prairie northwest of us, too. Often see a similar sight myself.
