I see the roiling turmoil that is so often characteristic of the central regions of galactic nebulae where new solar systems are born. Beautiful flame Cheryl!

Excellent .. love the butterfly you've added .. gives it a sort of surreal feel

This is gorgeous! I love the patterns, depth, and light! I have mixed feelings about the butterfly. In one way I like it very well, because its colors match the fractal and I am reminded that butterflies' wings have all the beauty and complexity of the universe. But I do find it a little distracting. My eyes begin their descent into the magical depths of the fractal galactic marvelosity only to be pulled away by the galactic marvelosity of the butterfly. I think I want one where the butterfly can be turned on and off. :) The light is superb! I love the concentration of bright, light yellow in the center, and the slightly darker yellow, the orange, and the blue-white on the peripheral. All of this beautifully showcased by the enfolding darkness. Excellent image!
