Description

This beautiful European Starling (Sturnus vulgaris) comes every day to the feeding place. Has he missed the connection to his group, which flies in the South? Or tastes the food so good, that he stays here? ;-) Wish you a wonderful day!!!! ....many thanks for the nice remarks and favorites on my previous photos! ***************PLEASE OPEN THE FULL-SIZED IMAGE WINDOW***************

Belle prise. Je pense qu'il préfère la deuxième solution : une bonne nourriture sans trop d'effort. De belles couleurs.

Well, I'd say it's probably the food, seeing as that looks like a pot of suet behind him! Very pretty bird with the tan highlights and the pretty colored leaves.

Great question what only the bird could answer. Lovely photo. Do you put out birdhouse so the little thing can go in for shelter againts the weather.

I am sure you make great bird food, so it stays for the winter with you. :-) Wonderful capture indeed. Love it. Where did you place that bird feeding place. You always capture mice and birds so beautifully?

Perhaps it is the goodness of your food and the beauty of your garden to keep him here! Or maybe because he know your reputation for excellent photographer? He also wants to be "immortalized" by you! ;) Fantastic photo, Ursula! :)
