This was my entry at 3DLuvr, it made second place (first was Carles, as usual :-)

Erik du hast dich selbst ertroffen (w ja schlecht wenn's nicht so ist!) Aber dieses Bild geflt mir echt sau gut. Du hast es geschafft das "Ah - ein gerendertes Bild" Moment zu erschreiten. Es wirkt als gesamthaftes Kunstwerk! Nicht zuletzt wegen all den vielen Details... aber das wirst du wohl selbst ziemlich gut wissen ;-)! For all those who don't speak german: I praise (to?) him

What can I say? This is amazing work - so full of detail, and such fantastic lighting. I find my eyes darting all over the picture seeking out (and finding!) new things to admire all the time. Top marks!!

Thanks to all of you, you're so kind :-) I would like to say that this scene contains much more that I can't show, cause I could not render it (no more memory) and that I hate microsoft for that 2-Gb-memory-limit (also in XP) - I need a MAC (there are 4 Gb memory available) but the best would be Linux, but C4D is not available for Linux as you know :-( (and the 'wine'-emulator for Win under Linux includes that limit too) ... if there is anywhere a contest with a MAC as prize I'm there for sure :-) I'm sorry that I cant tell you the rendertime, cause I had to render it in little pieces (cause of the memory), alltogether it took a week till I had all pieces together (and that without any 'spread' in transparency and reflection, wich would have been nicer)

All right i got it, i should try using Cinema 4d, maybe in another contest, i think there's no coincidence to have so many winners in this software. Congratulations! I love that bug, that's patience to detail, i was wondering, is really in this lab a guy who can reach those vases and glasses over the lamp?... ;) ... My pleasure. Jose Luis
