Description
This is the hamlet of Wambrook. It lies in the next valley over from Chard going west. Its been an inspiration of mine both walking and photographically for many years now. To reach it you take a winding lane that drops steeply into this hidden valley, one of the first buildings you see at the bottom of the lane is a farmhouse mentioned in the doomsday book, next you pass a pub called the Cotley which i sadly learnt yesterday is now closed and is to become a private house, a sad loss in my opinion.
