Description

Continuing PJ's "A Capital View" this is the top of the capital in Sacramento. PJ will know more than myself in the history of the dome. Thanks again for the great meet in Old Sac. In theory the city may be next.

I love this close up look of the capital, beautifully captured.

The dome is very similar to the US Capitol's dome - It has a “double dome” with an inner brick dome and an outer, tall cast iron dome. It is accented with similar neo-classic design elements as the one in Washington. Great shot! Great clarity and that deep blue sky is a perfect example of what we look at all summer out here.

Well exposed, readable black and white zone. Good clarity.

This is such a pristine presentation - unbelievable ... It could also be a design for some fancy headgear or maybe even a wedding-cake, only kidding you - marvellous capture of an old classic dome, BB
