@Corrie: Once you buy a certain make of DSLR camera, you "are forced" to buy all the accessories only belonging to that brand. For ex. if you buy a Nikon body, you won't be able to use lenses made for Canon or built by Canon, and viceversa (well, actually you could in some cases, but with the use of special adaptors and function losses). This is why most of the photographers use to say that they "got married" either to Canon, Nikon, Sony etc.
