Well, I only got three correct answers for this one. Jim (greyone), Michael (bangonthe drums)and Harry, Jim and Michael you have both won the BIG prize before lol so I am trying to keep this fair, so H is for Heron goes to Harry!! And so many of you said the obvious answer of horse sorry to disappoint you with a Heron but it was a picture I had already chosen to post. H is for Heron for Harry

Veteran's Day 2010 I loved all of your answers for the letter H. We have a few comedians on this site I see. lol and some very creative folks as well. Here are the guesses I got for H. It is a beautiful Heron Lynell! I've got a blue heron in my gallery and I am asthonished they are quite different. They are obviously birds of prey... I will be an Insect.

This is a Black-crowned Night Heron the one in your gallery is I believe a Great Blue Heron there are 64 different species of Herons, I see them pretty regulary out here near my home. thank you all.

Gorgeous capture of a majestic species. I know its only fair not to pick the same winner twice, but i still can brag i got the right answer :-) Besides i doubt my wife would want me to win a Heron, she is already upset about the duck i won earlier. House training a duck has been a losing battle. I cant think of too much for the I, but maybe iris, i know you have a bounty of beautiful floral images so that should fit. Not sure why iris would make me scream though.
