Description

It was already late in the lab. Her desk was located outside the research rooms. These were sealed off in the event of an accident, to not allow any genetically modified material to the outside. She did receive a late shipment, a parcel from a courier, on the outside of the package it had "urgent" written In bold, so she wanted to drop it in person, bringing it to Dr. McClosky. He was a luminary in genetic research, that at least was told, but on her he always made a normal impression. Maybe a little introverted, but that was something the doctors had been like often. She walked down the narrow corridor towards the lock. A worker came amongst her path. __________________________________ Es war schon spaet im Labor. Ihr Schreibtisch war ausserhalb der eigentlichen Forschungsraeume. Diese wurden hermetisch abgeriegelt um im Falle eines Unfalls, keine Erreger oder irgendwelches Genmanipulierte Material nach außen zu lassen. Sie hatte noch spät eine Sendung als Paeckchen von einem Kurier bekommen, auf dem Paket war dick "dringend" geschrieben, also wollte sie es noch persoenlich bei Doktor McClosky vorbeibringen. Er war eine Koryphaee in der Genforschung, so wurde erzählt, auf sie machte er immer einen sehr normalen Eindruck. Vielleicht etwas introvertiert, aber so waren die Aerzte oft. Sie ging den schmalen Gang hinunter Richtung der Schleuse. Ein Arbeiter kam Ihr entgegen.
