Description
The lake was created when I was a child and was later modified and improved over time. My most vivid memory is when winter 's pass by to go to school and it seemed an enchanted landscape: it was surrounded by willows, with cold, covered by ice. seemed to glass. Cold incredible, hands covered with chilblains, but the joy in my heart, the joy that only children can have.
Viareggio - Vacanze a Viareggio
It is the largest village in Versilia, its core dates from the twelfth century.
Its name derives from the "Via Regia" in the Middle Ages joined the hinterland to the coast.
It is a seaside resort that is based on tourism, trade, fisheries and floriculture.
It has a marina for 500 boats around, and for the construction of recreational craft and for the maintenance and repair during the winter.
The town of Viareggio is located on the Ligurian Sea and has a surface of 10 km of sandy beach which 6 km are managed from the resort and beach is 4 km (almost the entire beach is part of the Regional Natural Park-San Migliarino redness-Massaciuccoli). Bordered by the towns of Viareggio Camaiore, Massarosa and Old Town.
The territory is washed by the lake and is crossed by canals Massaciuccoli Burlamacca Farabola, Fossa Abbot (the border town of Camaiore), was fifteen and many other channels of the marshes surrounding the lake Massaciuccoli.
What can I visit in Viareggio
La Pineta di Ponente
It covers most of the length of the northern part of the city. It was planted in 1747 to defend the area from the weather and winds that scourged the coast from the sea. In fact, the pines are only part of the trees in this park. Inside the park there are commercial and recreational activities, bicycle lanes, paths and walkways, sports equipment, toilets, small tables for picnics. To see the swan pond. During spring and summer along the avenue Capponi, the pedestrian boulevard that crosses the central part of the Pine Forest, are organized markets.
La Pineta di Levante
Parkland that goes to the nearest dock to Torre del Lago Puccini. It is part of the Regional Natural Park-San Rossore Migliarino-Massaciuccoli. The human presence is less than the Pineta di Ponente due to the constraints that protect nature. This pine is the Villa Borbone.
The Viareggio Carnival is considered one of the most important carnivals in Italy and Europe.
The carts, which are the largest and most lively of the world, parading along the promenade of Viareggio. The Viareggio Carnival is not only the most spectacular Italian feast, but it is artistic and organizational skills of the Italians in the world.
Good day and good week

Yes, I can understand your joy as a child and now you can not recall the feeling the same way ever again, because the joy in the childhood was not filled with stains of less beautiful happenings, so it was pure. This is such a lovely place and it would be so nice to have the pure happy feeling just in a few seconds again, right? That is how I feel, when I see the harbour near my grandparents home. Cant get the pure happy feeling back. Its not the same.
