Description

Introducing the CDF Battlecruiser Damocles, just under a million polys this huge warship boasts an array of features. The Battlecruiser is a huge ship and has a main docking bay located at the front for shuttles and other escort sized space craft. It has 8 fighter bays, 6 heavy Ion Cannons, 8 Ion Cannon turrets, advanced Sensors and ECM & 6 access Airlocks. The first battlecruiser prototype (BC-1 EVE) was the first CDF capital ship to incorporate a full AI systems management. When brought on-line the advanced AI took control of all ships systems and attacked all ships and the shipyard at Nirak 7. Out of 12 capital ships the only 2 to survive was the Nemesis (heavy cruiser) and the Tempest (Destroyer). The battlecruiser proved to be an excellent robust warship but all following battlecruisers where manufactured without a system control AI.
