Hello, my name is Jean-Luc. I model and texture props, and do computer graphics and photography. And also hand-carved, hand-painted pottery with my wife Denise. :D
BIO
I am a French citizen, happily married to Denise, an American citizen, and we live in Ohio, USA. I come from Menton. Menton is the last town in France at the Italian border - well known for its good climate. We have both mountains and the sea there. :) Take care Jean-Luc aka Ajrarn :D

bakapo
a wonderful shot of life... and death.

He sure has been a busy little bug! Another day or two and there won't be a flower. A great capture of the flowers short life cycle!

Thank you Trifid, Bakapo, and Shari. :)

scifibabe
Looks like a flower at the end of its days. Beautiful crisp photo of it. Really nice composition.
Jean-Luc_Ajrarn
Thank you, SciFiBabe. :) Older flowers have so much more personality than young, "perfect" ones, IMO.
Rhanagaz
Fantastic shot! This flower really have personality! Is his yellow and black dotted "tenant" moving to another better "facility"? ;o)
Jean-Luc_Ajrarn
Thank you, Rhanagaz. :) LOL! I don't know where the tenant has gone. Most flowers and plants have been removed now from the Gardens (or moved to greenhouses), and there is not much left to see. It has been a few days we (my wife and i) haven't been there though, so it is very possible they planted "winter friendly" plants and we haven't seen them yet. In any case, i have PLENTY of photos to post for the winter. ;)

Very nice colors. Love the tears in the plant and the close up of the bug.
