Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Wow, what a view! I can tell you now that you wouldn't get me up there!!

Wow! I'd go, even if my stomach was doing weird flip-flops the whole way. What a view! Wonderful image of your son and his girlfriend!

I would SO be up there! And there's probably something a wee bit wrong with me as I'm thinking, as I write this: Oh man! What a cool sliding board that would make! WEll, just from the POV, it looks like there's a Golden Gate Sized sliding board there! I love the intimacy of this shot and the way in which everything just fits together so perfectly in just so unexpected (and unusual) a place. WOW! This rocks. Good looking people too...they're such a cute couple.

wonderful to see Jordan, and with such electric eyes just as we'd picture him from all you've shared about him. (And he has your features in many way: Great to see that!) And his girlfriend looks very kind & happy too---considering that, were that me, I'd be saying "you've GOT to be kidding!!!! Get me OUTA HERE!!!" The pov fits what you've told us about Jordan too, it's just the kind of place he'd stand with utter fearlessness & naturalness, and he's smiling like he does this everyday. Beautiful capture, and great that you shared yet another piece of your son's life with us. And btw, if I were there & looked at that background? I'd say, "you wanna call a helicopter? Ain't no way I'm moving from this spot..." Wonderful.

I would SO be up there, but I would probably not have the courage to stand up!
