Description

It was suggested by Johnny (J5) that it might be nice to see what she looked like with a smile on her face... so here you go, and a closeup to boot. I did an extremely slight adjustment on the definition of the tip of her nose as it appeared just a tad too angular to me. Full body to come... maybe several, lol. :D Nice to see a repetitve chord in the comments for her as I was aiming for a GND type of character, pretty but approachable, which I do like to create. Nice as they are, I tire of the drop-dead super model types that're so prevelant, almost intimidating in their beauty. I routinely tone down their features at times depending on dress and settings but the hardest part is trying to find more demure makeup. Not all women go into space, combat, a cave, or the shower with full cocktail lounge eyeshadow. But then again, who cares as long as they're naked, right? I always find it amusing that I usually receive far more views and faves on images I post that have a nudity tag hanging on them, many from members that have no images posted that they've created and that their faves consist largely of "adult content" tagged images. Consequently I know that the comments I do receive on an image like my prior posting of 'Joely' are from those that can appreciate a character and the work involved creating them, not just because they've a nice pair of boobs or a dandy pooper. Now don't get me wrong, this isn't a tirade against pretty girls or pinups, I've quite happily done more than my fair share of them. I found it ironic a while back that a creator here in the RMP had a very unique (albeit, plain) character rejected despite having overwhelmingly positive feedback on his preliminary images. This was a middle aged female with a wealth of character to her face that I would've loved to have seen in the MP as well as my runtime. Alas it was not to be, although his comments were not very clear as to just why she was being rejected I suspect it was due to her not having the "wow factor". Thanks to all who took time to comment on her first pic, I appreciate the kind words. Near as I could tell from it I've done ok so far but I'll reiterate that I'm looking for feedback. Sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees so if there's something you notice that bugs you, please, speak up. As in my previous post and this one, all images of her will have no postwork other than my siggy.

Slightly tired from a hard week at work from the looks of her eyes. Definitely a redhead with that "goose egg" skin. A bit more "septum bump" on the nose and she'd be fantastic for a "reality" render. So, waiting for more.

Her facial features are amazing, and how you put that expression on her face reflects a shy, demure woman. Also, gorgeous chiseled cheeks and chin. I think what happened with the image is that her hair and bangs hid the quality of her skin textures, since there are more shadows to the render. She is quite a lovely girl. Very nice creation, Don!

very nice and natural looking, me too loves the freckles.of course artists like jenny who creates her own characters are more up to the task to judge and also they see things or have ideas that i for example dont have.in any case youve done a good job bro.. i am still laughing for the politicians brain-implants

I fully agree with you (although myself I prefer more impressive ladies to create). And it is your right to create whoever you want. Besides, she is a beauty. (And, as you have welcomed to be frank, her eyes being too dry - it's what bugs me a bit - just my personal opinion).

You make some very valid points, and I have felt the same way you have. I haven't actually posted anything with real nudity in it, but I had wondered how many more views I would get in an image if I did. The whole "sex sells" bit is tiring but true it seems I really like your new character though, she's very cute, as is her smile. I think you have really achived what you were aiming for
