Description
A GR9 Harrier taken aboard HMS Ark Royal on her vist to North Shields before being decomissioned later this year.Building started in 1978 and she was launched in 1981. Built by Swan Hunter close to where she's docked before leaving on tues.

Not a view you get every day.Great plane great ship and great photo.Now that it's been descided we don't need aircraft carriers or Harriers, we DO need more photos like this.Thanks for a great post.
