Description

I just downloaded this ship from Sharecg.com for free it is actually the "Mirror Universe's" ISS Enterprise NCC 1701 I did some recoloring as the original artist colored sections of the ship instead of using texture maps. It was no fun rendering this as lightdome wanted to make the scene too bright so I had to adjust the contrast and brightness in post. The Starbase is actually the Enterprise-E's Saucer section (x2) And an actual starbase (Also a freebie at ShareCG.com) and a custom sphere and textures. It took allot of work to get it all just right but I think it came out pretty good.

Your efforts were worth it; I think it came out great. Good job on the starbase, too.

You've done a fantastic job. I like what you did with the Starbase.

Did you render it in Poser? If so, turn the crease angle to 25 degrees. It eliminates the smoothing errors around the windows without effecting the smoothing on the hull. :) Nice work. ^_- Eric
