Description
Another in my series of fractal kaleidoscopes with lots of curlicues and swirls.
These images really look good big, but Renderosity's size limits prevents me from posting them big enough. Here's a link to a much larger sized version in my PBase gallery:

The original fractal was rendered using FractalWorks, a program I wrote myself. I converted the image to a kaleidoscope using a Photoshop action, and then did some contrast adjustment, reduced it, and applied a little sharpening. FractalWorks only runs on Macs, and is currently free. I'm getting ready to make the move to a commercial (paid) app on the new Mac app store, but for now it's still free.
