wonderful "off the cuff" capture of these animals...you've got a wonderful array of postures...Some of the zebras are looking straight at us, which gives us a perspective we don't often see, because most zebra shots show side views, as they show off the zebras' patterns so blatantly. Yet the head-on view lets us see just how bold their design is, with those black lines around their necks hanging their like strange necklaces. And the giraffe in the background is majestic and silent, purveying the desert as if it owns it. Beautiful composition with the trees & shrubbery in the horizon, and beautiful bleak desert tones. Simple & mysterious & so direct.
