I love seeing these guys...anywhere but sitting on our deck looking into our netted-in koi pond, LOL. They are VERY, VERY patient AND persistant! Before he flew south for the winter the great blue heron would sit on our deck looking into the pond...or perched on the fence (don't know how he did that with such big feet!) Nice reflection!

Hey, that's not a parrot! Terrific shot of your main specialty in the photo genre, Maz: looking-into-the-sun stark light, dark and shadow. Looks some kind of graffiti on the river bed.

WOAH! WOW! OOOH! This is amazing! I saw this while I was at Corey's and his roommate's place so I didn't get to comment...and now that I still don't have much time to comment, I'm stealing a moment before the crazy day beckons. And WOW! I love this! The bird is elegant and beautifully-captured...the reflections (at first) looked like something other than water. I immediately thought that the bird was somehow writing a message, writing out the Narrative of Birds or something like that and well...that sent my mind off in nicely odd directions. This is really super stuff and now that I'm home (at least until the weekend,) I plan to catch up as much as I can. This rocks!
