Description
The new rain light gels from DAZ.
They are a major pain in the butt to work with.
A lot of adjustments will be needed.
And they are pretty memory intense.
But when you get it right, they are fabulous!
This is straight out of DAZ, no post work or resizing of any kind. Pretty cool, really.

Fascinating image and I'm really glad to see that your computer survived your "rain" frustration. };-) Had a solid week of pouring rain one-time and the only radio-station we could get where we lived at the time thought it was funny to play nothing but rain-themed songs. Wonder the DJ's didn't get strung up.. };-)

they really do look good. but i dont play with things anymore who are a pain in the butt.i have sooo much stuff which works instantly, and me for myself i have the most fun when posing and composing my scene. after a scene is done i dont feel like loosing hours for the renderstuff.but thats not a critic from me,i just want to point out the way i am. i must be able to pose and use something instantly other wise the fun effect is gone for me if i have to screw around finding things or adjusting things. i do that of course sometimes but then thats my decision and not an action imposed on me. ps.i neither like people or things around me who dont function hehehe. but thats the nature of the nervous cyberdoc since he was born. nevertheless outstanding work angel

Wow, great effect. I have a piece in my head this would be good for, but I'm a little cautious hearing that they are hard to work with. Might take the fun out of it. The effect is majorly beautiful, however!

Did you put these effects on my windows, or is that real rain outside? I love what you've done here, Angel. Thanks for persevering...

You did a beautiful job with my lightset. If you have any issues, or would like some hints tips, I'd be happy to help. So ya know, the render times would be greater if you set your shadows to 'raytraced', especially in ds. By default the shadows are set to 'deep shadow map' to help with render times. :-)
