Description

Even in the underverse, the traveler has to be wary of the vortees that lurk within. some have been known to throw the traveler completely away from the desired objective.

We have vortexes in our closets, because the cats get vacuumed in so easily. That's their excuse, anyway. ;c) This is a terrific image.

The philosopher Karl Gyekye would be very interested in the implications of such forces. It's a shame that we really saw nothing of the underverse in 'The Chronicles of Riddick'. A pretty good movie otherwise. But you've certainly captured the mood of that strange place based upon how it was described.
