Description
Done in Bryce 5. This is a science fiction landscape, and is the image I use for my avatar. This one took me a while to get the look that I wanted.

This is actually a very simple image. One terrain (mountains in background), infinite plain, and stock mats. The size, position, and color of the sun, plus the atmosphere color was the more difficult part. It took many hours of tweaking things to get the precise look I wanted: Harsh and Alien. Think of that sun as Betelgeuse (Bay Tell Geese) a truly massive red giant star, that is likely to become a black hole.
