I think rockstrider could be right.. I think we are looking at Penny Buns, defenitely not fresh ones I think.

Looks like it could be a variety called Penny Bun, but cant say for sure. Great capture of them!

so that what I hit with my chain saw today. i was cutting and then I feel something wet and soft hitting me. i looked closer and the weeds was in the way and i saw some brown color mushrooms. color was like this one. The mushrooms was almost goen at that time. I was trying to cut the small tree as close to the ground as I could with out hitting the dirt. wonderful shot
