Description

Here in the forest you can find some sustaining walls, so that the mountain will not slip. They are quite old. Thanks for looking.

What a beautiful shot! And nature is covering parts to make it look natural! Here in New Hampshire, USA we have a LOT of old rock walls from the 1700's and 1800's. Sheep used to play a big part of the economy here in those years and so a lot of the land was cleared of forest to make way for grazing the sheep. As the years have gone one, sheep farming has dropped drastically and so the forest is reclaiming the land and so it is not unusual to see a rock wall in the middle of the woods.

Schönes stilles Bild! Ich fange dann immer an zu träumen: Wer wohl die Mauer gebaut hat und wie diese Menschen wohl gelebt haben.

Excellent mood lighting and perspective in this shot, Klaus! I would never had guessed this was an artificial wall covered by forest growth.
