Description
There is a poem by Michael Guy - "Wisteria", in which he writes:
Wisteria, fragrant with loveliness
fragrance so delirious
Wisteria, purple lady mysterious,
Fleeting as the days of spring....

Oh, this is just beautiful! It reminds me of our wisteria that grows on the arbor over our front walkway to our house. We have both this beautiful color and also white. I love the poem up above...how true that statement is on how fleeting wisteria is... This picture makes me long for spring and we haven't even had our first snow yet!

And the unmistakable fragrance of the Wisteria. Some people love it, others don't. It is a 'sea of violet' and it combines very well with the yellow Kerria Japonica.

Beautiful picture, and poem going with it as well, Annie! Een prachtige en weelderige opname. Het is alsof ik hem ruik. Volgens mij staat er onder ook een Kerria struik. (beiden hebben wij ook ;-))
