Description

Here's the Vickers Mg 303, used from WW1 through WW2 & until the 1960's by the brits. Still quite a bit to do, unlike the 50 cal the vickers is very complex in construction, & it took me a while to figure out how to set it up as a model, its finally looking the part. There are plenty of grenades out there but no Mills bombs, so I give you "The Mills Bomb", the grandaddy of all pineapple frag grenades. It came out in 1916 & it too was used in this form until the 1960's, in Britain. The grenade No. 36 MkI & also the Hawkins grenade MkII( also know as the Hawkins mine) used by Britain & the U.S. It took me a week's work for the vickers alone & still a bit more to do. Thanks for looking & as usual comments are welcome.

Nice! Maybe only partway there but I recognise the vickers MG immediately! It's cool to see the original Canadian flag too!
