That is a very good portrait, I love the look on his face. I bet he has a million stories to tell, too. Part of my history degree included some work in oral history, and I discovered that people like him are indeed very fascinating people, especially when you consider how much the world has changed in his lifetime.

He's either a quiet, laconic sort, or he goes on about things I'd rather not hear! LOL! I think I'll pass on this guy. Whether I'm right or wrong has no bearing on the truth ... all it means is that you've thoroughly engaged me in this portrait. What a great image. VERY well done!
