Description

Not had a flower shot for a while, so I thought it was time for one. We are snowed up in Bay. No fun, we had to scrap our four wheel drive vehicle this week, which makes life so more difficult. I hope you like my flowers. Thank you for looking and for treasured comments. Hugs. Di. xx

Whenever I think of lillies, I think of the pure white ones and so seeing really exciting (and gorgeous) lilies presented so spot-on perfectly always draws my attention. I love the violet in the background and the lighter, lavender-ish color of the closer petals. Fantastic natural colors and a perfect darkened background...I think the darkened background and the rich colors are what form an interesting dynamic in this shot. In some pictures it comes across as a kind of tension (of a sort that I like) but here it's dynamic in a different way...rather like a dance, if that makes any sense. At any rate, I really like this immensely.
